The Lance Peters, MD, Memorial Biomechanics Award was developed by the Office of the Alumni Affairs in collaboration with the Residency Class of 1999 to recognize a current or recent HSS-trained researcher for an outstanding published paper in biomechanics research.

The Georgette "Gigi" Viellion, RN, ONC, Orthopaedic Nursing Education Scholarship Award
This Endowed Scholarship Award was established to honor Gigi Viellion, RN, ONC, a former Nurse Manager of the Orthopaedic and Rheumatology units at HSS. This scholarship will recognize a dedicated, professional orthopaedic nurse and will support continuing education.
