Donations to HSS power life-changing orthopedic and rheumatologic care and leading research. Your support helps us find better treatments for musculoskeletal conditions, which affect more than one out of every two adults in the US and nearly 75% of those age 65 and over.

Our Funding Priorities
A gift to HSS allows us to expand and enhance our facilities, advance research for new treatments, and push forward innovations in patient care and virtual health. Our current funding priorities include:
General Support
Gifts to our general fund support every area of our enterprise—including patient care, research, expansion, and education. General support allows HSS to pivot and meet the most pressing needs of the organization and our patients as they arise. There is no better way to support HSS.
Research
For more than 150 years, we have been a leader in research aimed at improving the lives of patients experiencing orthopedic and rheumatic conditions. Now, we are spearheading COVID-19 research to contribute to the understanding of this disease and to improve health outcomes and safeguard musculoskeletal patients.
HSS Rheumatology
Leveraging decades of unparalleled knowledge in treatment and research of rheumatic diseases, HSS Rheumatology is embarking on an unprecedented expansion of our clinical research enterprise to drive new and more effective treatments for the benefit of patients.
New Buildings and Laboratories
Expanding and enhancing our clinical facilities enables us to meet the increased demand for our services and provide safe, world-class care.
Virtual Health
Our vision is to transform musculoskeletal care through virtual health technologies and enhance the entire episode of care at HSS—from diagnosis and treatment to recovery and rehabilitation, as well as wellness, performance and injury prevention.
