Hill needs surgery on knee

Jets wide receiver Stephen Hill will have arthroscopic surgery next week on his left knee to repair cartilage damage suffered in the Arizona game on Dec. 2, according to his agent Alan Herman.

Hill was diagnosed by Dr. Frank Cordasco at Hospital for Special Surgery. He hasn't decided where the scope will be performed. Hill should be able to recover from the surgery in time to participate in the Jets' offseason training program in the spring.
