Paul George has Become this Year’s Derrick Rose

After two straight seasons of questions surrounding Rose’s health — and, specifically, whether he would be rejoining his Bulls teammates at some point during the regular season or playoffs — that situation has now surfaced a few hours East in Indianapolis, where George appears to be on the verge of recovering from the broken leg he suffered while playing for Team USA last summer.

George is expected to play at some point before the regular season ends in two weeks.

Before the game, he presented Nets medical director Dr. Riley Williams III with a signed Team USA jersey as a thank you for helping with George’s treatment over the summer. Williams worked with Team USA during its run to the FIBA World Cup gold medal.
