Smart tool developed by Massena native used for more than 1,000 hip replacement surgeries

Watertown Daily Times reported that Intellijoint HIP, a smart tool for orthopedic surgeons to use during total hip replacement surgeries, has been used more than 1,000 times since it was launched last year.

Peter K. Sculco, MD, adult reconstruction and joint replacement surgeon at HSS performed the 1000th procedure. "All surgeons want to provide the best outcome for their patients.
