Mets Will Place David Wright On the 15-Day Disabled List

The New York Mets today announced that prior to tomorrow night's game, the team will place third baseman David Wright on the 15-Day Disabled List, retroactive to Monday, May 16, with a lower back stress fracture.

Wright, 28, underwent a CT scan last night that confirmed an MRI finding that the third baseman has a lower back stress fracture. He will have no baseball activity for 10 days and then be re-evaluated at Hospital for Special Surgery.
