Some NYC Flu Vaccine Supplies Dwindle

WNBC-TV New York—January 14, 2013

Most of the country is dealing with a flu epidemic, and people who haven't been vaccinated yet are now lining up to roll up their sleeves and get the shot. But some places in New York City are running out of their vaccine supply. News 4's Roseanne Colletti has more.

Roseanne Colletti: The more people vaccinated the better for the most vulnerable says Dr. Andy Miller, infectious disease specialist at Hospital for Special Surgery.

Dr. Andy Miller: It's important that sicker people have the shot but it is also important that sicker people have people around them who have received it. And the same holds true for babies.
