Orthopedics This Week featured a study done by Hospital for Special Surgery on the best place to recover following a hip or knee replacement surgery.
According to study, HSS showed that patients admitted to a care facility had a higher risk of complications than patients who went home after surgery. The study supported that patients had fewer complications if they recovered at home.
