About Dr. de Asla

Dr. Richard J. de Asla is a board certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in disorders of the foot and ankle at HSS at NCH in Naples, Florida.

After his residency at the University Hospital of Cleveland, Case Western Reserve University, Dr. de Asla completed his fellowship in foot and ankle orthopedics at HSS. Before joining HSS at NCH, he was Director of the Foot and Ankle Orthopaedic Service at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston and served on the Harvard Medical School faculty from 2004-2015. Dr. de Asla has been a reviewer for the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery American volume since 2005 and a reviewer for the Journal of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons since 2015.
