Dr. Jennifer Solomon is board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and fellowship trained in Spine and Sports Medicine. She specializes in non-operative treatments for sports and spine injuries including electrodiagnostics.
An Assistant Attending Physiatrist at Hospital for Special Surgery and Clinical Instructor at Weill Cornell Medical College, Dr. Solomon serves as team physician for St. Peter’s College and has covered several sporting events including the NYC Marathon, tennis tournaments, and various races. She is also a team physician for the United States Federation Cup Tennis Team, a medical consultant for La Palestra Center for Preventive Medicine, and a member of the Advisory Board of Fitness magazine.
Dr. Solomon’s research interests include the investigation of common low back injuries and other sports injuries that predominantly affect active women. She is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the North American Spine Society, and the American Association of Electrodiagnostic Medicine.
She has published more than 15 articles and chapters on a variety of spine and sports medicine topics. Dr. Solomon participated competitively in junior tennis and currently is an avid cyclist.
