North Caldwell Native Earns Award

The Progress reports that Adele Boskey, PhD, a senior scientist at Hospital for Special Surgery, received the Lawrence G. Raisz Award from the American Society for Bone and Mineral Research (ASBMR), which recognizes an individual's achievement in preclinical translational research in the bone and mineral field.

"I am thrilled and honored to receive the Raisz award, named after the scientist who asked me, and others, probing questions at each ASBMR meeting since the organization started, thus inspiring many of my studies," said Dr. Boskey. According to the article, bone mineralization is considered one of the most important areas in bone disease research.
