Dr. Andrew Sama, orthopedic spine surgeon at Hospital for Special Surgery, joins The Big Show on 1340 AM Mile High Sports in Denver, Colorado, to discuss recent NFL injuries particularly back injuries to the Denver Broncos football team.

"In terms of what we usually tell athletes when they have these types of injuries, it’s really a touch and go type of situation," said Dr. Andrew Sama. "You basically want them to rest, you want them to do some good therapy for stretching, and maybe some massage. Then as the pain subsides, they can get back into re-conditioning these muscles, and gradually re-introduce them to the sport."
