Fox 5 New York’s "New York Minute" reported that HSS hosted a groundbreaking ceremony to begin the East River Esplanade revitalization project between 70th and 72nd Streets in New York City.

HSS president and CEO Louis A. Shapiro said "upgrades will include new paving, planting beds, seeding, as well as repairing and repainting of the East Esplanade railing."
