Wisconsin State Journal—August 3, 2016
Chris Bumbaca from Wisconsin State Journal reports on Heather Miller-Koch's journey prior to her win for a spot on the U.S. Olympic Track and Field team for the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.
According to the article, "Miller-Koch, who competes in the heptathlon, would hop back on the train to her home, shower quickly, then work the noon to 8 p.m. shift at the Hospital for Special Surgery as part of her nursing residency. Sometimes, another training session or lift followed."
