Fios 1 News Lower Hudson Valley—October 18, 2017
Fios 1 News Lower Hudson Valley reported that HSS held a ribbon cutting ceremony at its new outpatient facility, HSS Westchester. The segment reported that the new facility is the hospital’s first Westchester County location and fulfills the need for patients looking to receive treatment closer to home.
"We want to provide convenient and comprehensive care here that obviously is in parallel in what we do at Special Surgery…. I think it’s much more convenient for my patients in Westchester County to see me here," said Andrew D. Pearle, MD, HSS sports medicine surgeon and new medical director of HSS Westchester.
The segment reported that the new facility will have 25 specialized care physicians and a full spectrum of rehabilitation services.
HSS vice president of regional markets Jennifer Rentas said HSS will focus on improving quality and increasing access to patients, despite the uncertainty of the nation’s future healthcare system.
