Carmelo Anthony laid on a training table in the visiting locker room for several minutes, his left knee being iced down following the Knicks' failed comeback bid in a 117-113 loss Tuesday to the Bucks.
Anthony stressed he's experienced "no swelling" with the knee, but added coyly, "I know what's going on with it. For me it’s a matter of just not thinking about it and playing through it. I was doing just fine up until today, banging my knee."
GETTING LATE, EARLY
Knicks rookie Cleanthony Early underwent arthroscopic surgery Tuesday to remove what the team called "a loose body" in his right knee that was revealed during an MRI exam. The procedure was performed by team orthopedist Dr. Answorth Allen.
