LupusLine Phone Counseling Service Has Positive Impact, Says New York’s HSS

Lupus News Today reported that LupusLine® by HSS, a free telephone support line and education program for lupus patients, has proven to be a valuable resource. Patients who call LupusLine are connected with a clinical social worker, who schedules that patient with a trained volunteer for private counseling.

HSS conducted a questionnaire to ask responders about the overall impact of LupusLine support. 95 percent of patients said they were happy with their counselor match, and 94 percent said they would recommend LupusLine to a friend.
