Metro reports that Charlie Burt of Mahopac, New York, won USA Football's 2016 Heart of a Giant Award presented by Hospital for Special Surgery and the New York Giants.
"There's so many incredible stories and young men who are inspiring and applying what they learn on the gridiron in their own lives," said Samuel A. Taylor, MD, sports medicine surgeon at HSS. "Through overcoming an obstacle at birth he had no control over, it inspires other people to defy limitations that others may put on them."
