Iona's Smyth Could Dress vs. William & Mary
New York Daily News Blog—December 19, 2011
Iona junior Kyle Smyth had an MRI Monday and consulted with Dr. Riley Williams at Hospital for Special Surgery and the verdict was "not discouraging," according to an Iona official. While no specifics were given as to Smyth's shoulder injury or the MRI results, he is listed as "day-to-day" and will more than likely dress for Wednesday's game at William & Mary.
Smyth, a three-point specialist for the Gaels who is averaging eight points a game, injured his shoulder in practice last Thursday. It was the same shoulder he had surgery on last spring.
