Whether you love or hate running, there's new research that will have you making time in your busy schedule to lace up your sneakers on the regular. Results of a recent study on running speeds and duration, published in The Journal of the American College of Cardiology, reveal that adding in even a small amount of jogging daily can drastically improve a person's health.
Dr. Jordan Metzl, author of The Exercise Cure and sports medicine physician at New York City's Hospital for Special Surgery, spoke on Today this morning about the findings -- saying that there's no need to be an Ironman in order to reap the benefits from daily movement.
"Exercise is the best medicine," said Metzl. "If you get it in every day you'll be healthier, you'll live longer, and you'll just be much happier at what you do."
