In an article by Silver Sneakers, reporter K. Aleisha Fetters highlighted a 10-minute chair exercise to strengthen the core muscles. HSS sports performance specialist Tiffany Chag, MS, RD, CSCS said that some of the best core exercises for older adults take place from a seated position.
"Anytime you’re sitting, your core should be engaged to help you maintain tall, upright posture," said Chag.
