ABC Scranton—June 19, 2017
ABC Scranton featured a segment on sports safety for young athletes. To keep these athletes safe and educated about preventable musculoskeletal health issues, Hospital for Special Surgery hosted a Sports Safety Clinic at Marywood University. The clinic was focused on reducing ACL injuries.
"We're focusing this program on high school athletes and younger. It's also directed to parents and coaches. We're looking to teach them the proper warm-up mechanics," said HSS physical therapist John Salva.
