About Grace Horan

Grace Horan is an Exercise Physiologist on the Sports Rehabilitation and Performance Team at HSS. She obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science at SUNY Cortland, where she conducted multiple research studies involving metabolic testing. She then went on to pursue a Master’s Degree at Adelphi University, where she worked as a Graduate Assistant, gaining extensive experience in the clinical field. She is also a Certified Exercise Physiologist through the American College of Sports Medicine.

Grace has had experience conducting research in the field of Exercise Physiology and has found a love for metabolic testing to create exercise prescriptions for athletes, including ultra-marathon runners, triathletes, and weekend warriors. In addition, she has worked in a cardiac rehabilitation setting, prescribing exercise to improve the fitness and overall quality of life of individuals with special considerations such as cardiovascular, metabolic, and musculoskeletal conditions. Grace has 18 years of experience in dance and has found her passion for exercise and movement through the sport. She is passionate about sharing exercise with others because she believes in its transformative power to enhance both physical health and personal well-being.
