As one of the premier sports medicine providers, Hospital for Special Surgery understands that athletes need access to high quality care in a timely manner. We understand that this is no different for our performance artists. Injuries can lead to time away from rehearsals and performances. We realize that the fear of missed time can create significant anxiety amongst our dancers. That is why getting the proper diagnosis and treatment is of the upmost importance.
HSS’s Ortho Injury Care provides our dancers with the opportunity to get expert care in the timely manner they deserve. As a clinic that only treats acute injuries that have occurred in the last 6 weeks, the Ortho Injury Care clinic allows quick access to expert level care. Since the clinic only makes same day and next day appointments, urgent appointments are available. The OIC is staffed by a team of our Primary Sport Medicine physicians. They specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of athletic injuries and have ample experience working with artistic athletes.
Open Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4 pm; appointments can be made online or by calling. If you require after-hours care, our expert advance practitioners provided care 7 am to 7 pm Monday through Friday and 8 to noon on Saturdays through our OrthoNow clinics.
