Dr. Weiner is a pediatric endocrinologist at HSS and is board certified in pediatrics, pediatric endocrinology and obesity medicine. She is passionate about managing pediatric patients with various medical conditions, including metabolic bone disease.
After graduating cum laude from Northwestern University with a BA in molecular biology and genetics, Dr. Weiner received her medical degree at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York, where she was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She then completed her internship and residency in pediatrics at Children's National Medical Center in Washington D.C. Dr. Weiner moved to New York City to be closer to her family, where she completed her fellowship in Pediatric Endocrinology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. She then pursued an Obesity Medicine Fellowship at Weill Cornell Medical Center.
In her free time, Dr. Weiner enjoys exploring Manhattan with her husband and 2 children.

Dr. Weiner previously completed research on the effects of adolescent bariatric surgery on bone heath, though further research is needed to better elucidate the long-term potential health risks.
