Peer Health Educator
If your life has been touched by lupus, you have a unique perspective that you can use to help others. Become a LANtern Peer Health Educator by learning about lupus, developing your listening skills, and improving your ability to recommend effective coping mechanisms. We offer comprehensive peer health educator training sessions that volunteers find very rewarding and personally enriching. Bilingual language abilities are preferred but not required.
Program Volunteer
If you are interested in learning about how a chronic illness affects patients and their families, developing cultural competency skills, working with a healthcare team, and making a difference in the Asian American community, become a LANtern Program Volunteer. There are many specific projects that should be a good match for your talents and interests.
