Sofya Kuchuk, MSN, RN, ACNP-BC, is an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner at the Hospital for Special Surgery working with the Cardiology and Anticoagulation Service. She specializes in seeing patients with cardiac devices such as pacemakers and defibrillators. Sofya previously worked as a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner in the Coronary Care Unit at Columbia Medical Center, and as a Electrophysiology Nurse Practitioner at Beth Israel Medical Center. Prior to that she worked as an ICU nurse in various critical care units in NYC, Baltimore, New Haven, San Francisco and San Diego.
Sofya obtained her BSN from New York University and MSN from Columbia University, as well as a BA and BS from the University of Pennsylvania. She is board certified as an Acute care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP-BC) from ANCC.
Sofya enjoys spending time with family, baking and, traveling.
