Jennifer Talevski is a board-certified nurse practitioner on the Orthopedic Trauma Service at the Hospital for Special Surgery and New York-Presbyterian. She specializes in metabolic bone health including fracture healing, primary management of osteoporosis, osteopenia, and fracture risk reduction.
For over seven years, Jennifer previously worked as a certified orthopedic registered nurse at Northwell Health and Hospital for Special Surgery in orthopedic spine and trauma. During this time, she obtained her Master’s in Science as a Nurse Practitioner in Family Health from Stony Brook University. She was then trained by Dr. Joseph Lane, Chief of Metabolic Bone Disease Service at HSS, and currently works alongside Dr. Derek Hansen, an orthopedic oncologist who specializes in metabolic bone disease. She enjoys traveling, hiking with her dogs, pilates and going to concerts.
