Geraldine Tomakin-Pilla, MA, RN, ANP-BC, is a nurse practitioner in the post-anesthesia care unit and Step-Down Unit at the Hospital for Special Surgery since 2011. She manages care of postoperative patients and provides diagnostic pharmacological and pain management aspects of care, specializing in IV and epidural PCA. Geraldine has over 20 years of progressive nursing experience. She has worked in the emergency department as well as in private cardiology practice.
Geraldine completed her BSN from the University of San Carlos in the Philippines and her Master of Arts in Advanced Practice Nursing from New York University.
She is board-certified through the ANCC as an adult nurse practitioner and is certified as a post-anesthesia nurse.
