Megan Totaro, MSN, RN, FNP-BC, is a Family Nurse Practitioner at the Hospital for Special Surgery working at Occupational Health Services. She previously served as a CN I on 6 East Inpatient unit at HSS for five years. Prior to that, she was a registered nurse at Staten Island University Hospital (SIUH) on the medical surgical unit. Megan worked as a Patient Care Assistant at SIUH for two years prior to becoming a registered nurse.
Megan obtained her BS in Health Studies from Monmouth University in 2010. She then obtained her BSN from New Jersey City University in 2013, and her MSN from Wagner College in 2018. She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) from the ANCC.
Megan enjoys spending time with her three small children, husband, family and friends.
