About Dr. Nygard

Dr. Stephen Nygard is a board certified anesthesiologist at HSS Florida. After his residency at NewYork Presbyterian/Weill Cornell, Memorial Sloan Kettering and Hospital for Special Surgery, he completed fellowship training in cardiac anesthesiology.

Prior to joining HSS Florida, Dr. Nygard spent 18 years at Doctors Hospital in Miami, working with orthopedic surgeons and caring for the players of the Miami Dolphins, Miami Heat and Florida Panthers.
