In a Silver Sneakers article, HSS sports performance specialist Jason Machowsky, RD, CSSD, RCEP, CSCS created a total-body workout with resistance bands. According to the article, resistance bands provide a number of different ways to challenge your muscles.
"You can hold a band in one hand, two hands, loop it around a pole, tie it around your knees or ankles, step on one side, and more," said Machowsky.
The workout included exercises such as bicep curls and seated rows.
