Runner's World reports that Jordan D. Metzl, sports medicine surgeon at HSS, was on Today to discuss his new book Dr. Jordan Metzl's Workout Prescription. The book serves as a guide for quick, high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workouts.
"It can build strength and really ramp up your metabolic furnace," said Dr. Metzl. "If you have 10 or 20 minutes, it's safe, it's healthy, and it can really do great things for you."
