Dr. James D. Beckman is a board certified anesthesiologist, practicing since 1997. Dr. Beckman teaches clinical regional anesthesia, including brachial plexus block techniques; physiology and complications; spinals; epidurals; combined spinal-epidural anesthesia; and peripheral nerve blocks for analgesia. Dr. Beckman is a member of the Department's dedicated Spine Team and an expert in management of the difficult airway.
