About Dr. Horine

Dr. Storm Horine is an anesthesiologist in the Pain Management Division at the Hospital for Special Surgery and is board certified in both anesthesiology and pain medicine. He specializes in interventional, nonsurgical management of musculoskeletal, neurologic, oncologic, and spine-related pain syndromes.

Dr. Horine completed his anesthesiology residency at the University of Michigan, where he was elected Chief Resident. He then completed a fellowship in pain medicine at the Tri-Institutional Pain Medicine Fellowship at Weill Cornell Medical Center, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and Hospital for Special Surgery. Prior to joining HSS, Dr. Horine was the Memorial Sloan Kettering site director for the Tri-Institutional Pain Fellowship and received multiple Teacher of the Year awards.

Dr. Horine is dedicated to providing compassionate and personalized care to improve pain and physical function. He uses state-of-the-art fluoroscopic and ultrasound-guided procedures along with medication regimens to maximize healing for a quick return to physical activity.
