About Dr. Kosarussavadi

Dr. Saritha Kosarussavadi ("Dr. K") is an Assistant Attending Neurologist at HSS. She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of neuromuscular conditions, including neuropathy, myopathy, radiculopathy, and neuromuscular junction disorders, amongst others. Her areas of interest include immune-mediated neuropathy/myopathy and small fiber neuropathy.

Dr. K received her undergraduate and masters degrees in Neuroscience and Physiological Science from UCLA, and obtained her medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. She completed her neurology residency at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine where she was elected chief resident. She then went on to do a fellowship in Neuromuscular Medicine at Mount Sinai.

As part of HSS neurology, Dr. K is committed to patient-centered care and providing high quality neurologic evaluation.
