Dr. Stimac is a board certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in adult reconstruction and joint replacement surgery. With a focus on innovative techniques and patient-centered care, he is committed to providing the highest quality surgical outcomes.

Dr. Stimac's expertise includes anterior approach total hip replacement, computer assisted total hip replacement, revision anterior approach total hip replacement, primary total knee replacement, robotic total knee replacement, outpatient total joint replacement and revision total knee replacement.

A native of Bellingham, WA, Dr. Stimac attended the University of Notre Dame where he graduated magna cum laude before earning his medical degree from Tulane University. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Louisville and his fellowship in adult reconstruction and joint replacement at HSS.

Before joining HSS at NCH, Dr. Stimac dedicated over a decade to practicing in Louisville, KY where he trained orthopedic surgery residents and adult reconstruction and joint replacement fellows. Dr. Stimac was the fellowship director for the adult reconstruction and joint replacement fellowship at Norton Orthopedic Institute.

Dr. Stimac is happily married and enjoys spending quality time with his daughter. In his free time, he is passionate about travel, boating, and golf.
