Lauren Wlazelek, MS, OTRL, CHT is an occupational therapist and certified hand therapist at Hospital for Special Surgery. She received her Bachelors in physiology at University of Delaware and Master’s in occupational therapy from Thomas Jefferson University. After school, Lauren worked in the burn unit at University of Colorado which sparked her interest for specializing in hands. She completed the AOTA accredited Hand Therapy Fellowship at Stanford University. She continued her passion for education by co-creating a hand therapy fellowship in San Francisco Bay Area. At HSS, she is a member of the Hand Fellowship faculty, an educator to Orthopedic and Sports Residency programs, and a volunteer with the pediatric adaptive sport program. Lauren treats a variety of diagnoses in the upper extremity and enjoys working with patients of all ages.
