Dr. David Wang is the 2015 Wholeness of Life Recipient

The Hospital for Special Surgery's Spiritual Care Department is pleased to announce that David Y. Wang, MD is the 2015 Wholeness of Life Honoree of the HSS/HealthCare Chaplaincy Network Award. This prestigious award is presented annually to that member of the HSS staff who has made a significant contribution to the quality of care of the HSS patients by understanding and responding to the needs of the whole person - in body, mind, and spirit.

David is a board-certified anesthesiologist who has specialized in Pain Management at HSS since 1998. His chosen clinical path, as pain management physician, has been his true life's vocation. His caring and compassionate manner, coupled with his appreciation for the human condition, has earned him the respect of his peers and patients alike. His quiet and attentive manner is his calling card. Truly, he has demonstrated a commitment to caring for those most in need, both physically and spiritually.

Healthcare Chaplaincy Network’s Wholeness of Life Award recognizes two groups of worthy recipients – healthcare professionals and community business leaders.
