The Hip Society Rothman-Ranawat Traveling Fellowship

The Rothman-Ranawat Traveling Fellowship is an annual fellowship open to four young orthopedic surgeons from around the world. Named to honor the significant contributions and preserve the legacy of Richard H. Rothman, MD, PhD, and Chitranjan S. Ranawat, MD, the goal of the fellowships is to foster emerging thought leaders and provide them with an inspirational tour of state-of-the-art facilities throughout North America that provide exemplary surgical care of the hip joint. Over four to five weeks, traveling fellows visit up to ten sites identified by the Fellowship & Mentorship Committee. Host sites structure the fellows’ visits to include personal interaction, conferences, surgical observations, and visits to cadaver labs.

The 2021 Fellows are Suhel Kotwal, MD (USA), Peter H.J. Cnudde, MD, PhD (UK), Hiroyuki Ike, MD (Japan), and Claudio Diaz Ledezma, MD (Chile).
