Repair of Femoral Nonunion with Deformity Below Hip Replacement

Pre-Op

Patient Surgeon: S. Robert Rozbruch
Roberta sustained a fracture of her femur below her hip replacement. Despite surgery at another hospital the femur did not heal and she was in a lot of pain, unable to walk and had a large varus deformity.

Her nonunion was repaired with a locking plate and bone graft. This corrected the deformity and leg length discrepancy. She is now able to be active without pain or limitation.
