HSS has proudly served the Nets since 2004, following the organization from New Jersey to Brooklyn to offer continuous world-class orthopedic care for the athletes.
In 2016, HSS demonstrated our dedication to providing Brooklyn Nets players with unrivaled access to performance resources by naming the state-of-the-art HSS Training Center. The complex features two full basketball courts, a weight room, a training pool and two hydro pools, a rooftop entertainment space, an 18-seat multimedia theater, 3,000 square feet of hospitality and lounge space, and a media interview and workroom.
HSS also works alongside the Nets and the WNBA’s New York to make a positive impact in the community. Together, the organizations identified food insecurity as a major challenge in the region and collaborated with Wellfare, a local nonprofit, to improve access to nutritious food, as well as health and wellness resources for low-income households throughout New York City. In 2022, Wellfare’s Eat & Move Better Boxes — presented by HSS, the Brooklyn Nets and the New York Liberty — began bringing premium, nutritious packaged groceries, as well as and health and fitness resources, to more than 600 families per year in underserved communities across New York City
