By speaking directly to patients and their families, you’ll act as the focal point and familiar face throughout their experience at HSS – ensuring that they’re well-informed and relaxed throughout the process. Our coordinators oversee the entire patient journey and ensure their overall experience is a positive one. At HSS, our patient experience advocates are the voice of our patients, acting upon their feedback in efforts to ensure each patient has an exceptional experience. This team is known for executing their critical thinking and problem-solving skills with an amazing capacity for compassionate and empathetic communication. When you join them, you’ll collaborate with colleagues across the institution to address concerns expressed by patients, families and support persons in constant pursuit of elevating the patient and family experience. Our advocates interpret policies and procedures as well as uphold the Patient’s Bill of Rights. From the time the patient arrives until they leave, you’ll play a key role in ensuring we’re always delivering the right and best care and services possible.
As a leader in our field, patients travel to us from all over the world, speaking a variety of different languages. From the time they arrive to when they leave, it’s essential that their experience is as transparent as possible. Joining us as an interpreter, you’ll be the bridge between patients, physicians, nursing staff and other hospital personnel to ensure everyone has a clear understanding. Our mission is to provide the highest quality patient care possible and we make sure language is never a barrier to this.
