Pitching Analysis Banner

The HSS Pitching Analysis is an in-depth analysis specifically tailored for baseball pitchers looking to reduce risk of injury and elevate their performance to the next level.

This two-part comprehensive analysis includes:

Part One: A 60-minute evaluation with an HSS Throwing Specialist that consists of:

  • A full body musculoskeletal and movement assessing sports specific mobility and strength
  • Review current activation, arm care and recovery program.
  • A series of pitches videotaped and analyzed using DARI marker less motion capture software to identify any mechanical flaws that might predispose one to injury and limit performance.

Part Two: A 60-minute training session with HSS Exercise Physiologist to develop a personalized exercise program to address the athlete's individual impairments.

If you are not a baseball pitcher or currently experiencing pain, please reach out to sportsperformance@hss.edu to address other services that may best assist you.

Benefits include:

  • Identification of faulty mechanics that may contribute to overuse injury or compromise pitching performance
  • Improved pitching mechanics by addressing limitations in strength, mobility, and/or pitching form
  • Customization of an individualized home exercise arm care and strength program
